In addition to the company-operated convenience and gas stores branded as “Uppy’s” and “On-the-Run” and  through common ownership, we have a separate wholesale gasoline distribution company, “Southside Oil,” that has been in business for more than 75 years. Southside Oil currently serves all 38 Uppy’s and On-the-Run locations as well as approximately 80 additional dealer-served BP and ExxonMobil gas stations.

Southside Oil, LLC operates two offices, with the operational portion of the company being centered in Boydton, VA and the executive management office in Chester, VA. Southside Oil has Jobber/Distributor contracts with both ExxonMobil Oil Company and BPAmoco Oil Company. Southside Oil provides petroleum terminal supply for approximately 125 million gallons of gasoline and 15 million gallons of distillates out of the Richmond terminal facilities. The company has its own fleet of proprietary transport vehicles and driver staff. In all, Southside Oil delivers to over 75 retail facilities throughout Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Florida.
